Warning: Okay - I love Jesus. But...I can cuss like a sailor and talk dirty like a porn star. Feel free to have a look around and try not to be offended - it's the way God made me and He loves me anyway!

Letters of Intent

Dear Self,

It's time to realize that you are NOT the laid-back, take-it-in-stride person you have spent your whole life thinkin' you are.  When your house is a construction zone, take the Xanax as soon as you get up, not after you've spent the whole day tryin' not to lose your freakin' mind!

Love,  Self

Dear Hubs,

Don't take it personal, but, thank the good Lord above that you are finally goin' on some travel!  Your two weeks outta the country is perfect for me:  one week to totally enjoy your absence, one week to get ready for you to come home and love the crap outta me!  Have a great time, get lot's of work done, eat too much French food, come home horny!

Love,  Wife

Dear Son,

Take it as personal as you wanna!  Thank God that you are going to camp and gonna be gone for eight days!!  Have a great time, eat lots of great food, sing some totally awesome songs, laugh your ass off at the crazy skits.  Don't even worry about me, home alone for eight (EIGHT!!!) freakin' days by myself.  I promise I'll be okay!

Love ya to death (even if you are sometimes a total pain in the ass), Mom

  13. Sounds about right! We are empty nesters now and when Hubby travels, it is "ME" time. I've been known to go to bed at 6 pm with a tub of ice cream and a good book. Absolute heaven! Our kitchen counter and table have looked like a craft store freakin' exploded ... and nobody cares. I've sat surfin' blogs for 10 straight hours on the laptop just because I wanted to. Oh yeah, enjoy your time off!!!

  14. Love it! My kids are going to Oregon to visit their grandparents for a couple weeks (my daughter 1 week and my son 2 weeks) and I CANNOT wait!! If I could figure out somewhere to ship my husband to, I would be the happiest woman in the world!! I absolutely love my time alone, and it seems lately that there isn't any. With my daughter graduated and working less than a mile away, and my son doing online school....well....there is no "me" time! So on the 4th of July when the kids leave for a little while, it really will be Independence Day for me!

On another note, thanks for the comment about Taylor's piercing apprenticeship! The hardest thing for me right now is having to wait to get another tattoo...I have 4 and I love them all and have been designing my 5th for awhile, and now I am in the shop all the time and it's making me want it right now!! But, being in AZ, summer is not a good time cuz I refuse to give up my lazy days in the pool for 3 weeks!!! But as soon as the weather cools down, I'm ready!!!

Hope to see you around my page soon, and I'll definitely be back!!

    Lesa
